Carbon monoxide - the “Invisible Killer”

Carbon monoxide, also known as CO, is called the “Invisible Killer” because it's a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. More than 150 people in the Unites States die every year from accidental nonfire-related CO poisoning associated with consumer products, including generators. Megan George, Kiran Kumar Gunti, Sam Marriner, Raja Pragallapati and Michael Settino all finished Allegheny County Fire Academy Mod 4 Interior Firefighting Program.

In addition, Megan George passed the Pennsylvania Volunteer Fire service certification program “Firefighter 1”.
