The Franklin Park Fire Station, 158, hosted neighbors from the Hindus community to observe Rakṣā Bandhana (pronounced ruck-SHAH bund-HUN)  – loosely translated as the “Protection Connection”. Megan George, Kiran Kumar Gunti, Sam Marriner, Raja Pragallapati and Michael Settino all finished Allegheny County Fire Academy Mod 4 Interior Firefighting Program.

In addition, Megan George passed the Pennsylvania Volunteer Fire service certification program “Firefighter 1”.
