We would like to take this time to remind you to keep fire hydrants clear of snow and ice. It takes five minutes to shovel out a fire hydrant and those five minutes could turn out to be livesaving if a fire breaks out in your home or a neighbor's home. Critical time is wasted when firefighters arrive on the scene of a fire and have to dig out a fire hydrant that has not been cleared of snow or ice. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Santa Visits Franklin Park - THIS SUNDAY!

Santa will make his rounds in Franklin Park to double check his list on Sunday December 20, between 1pm and 5pm. PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons, Santa will not be getting out of the truck this year. CAR SEAT SAFETY CHECK

Car Seat Safety The Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company will host a PA State Police car seat safety check event on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 2360 Rochester Road, Sewickley, PA 15143. Car Seat Tech’s will be on hand to check the installation and use of car seats at no charge. Please have the owner’s manual for the vehicle and the car seat instruction booklet.

What a Special Day!

A recognition parade for first responders was held Saturday May 16th from noon until 2:00 PM. It included the Franklin Park Police, Franklin Park Fire Company members and McCandless-Franklin Park Ambulance Authority personnel.
