The Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company stopped by Be at Home Child Care during their Halloween parade for a fun “Touch a Truck” event!
Kids got an up-close look at Engine 2 and had the chance to meet and chat with real firefighters about how they help keep our community safe.

Gratitude and Protection: Raksha Bandhan at the Station

Members of the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) visited our station to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. They tied rakhis, or protection wristbands, to our firefighters as a symbol of gratitude and prayers for their safety. Firefighter for a Day - What a Day!

Thank you to everyone who came out on September 20th for our hands-on firefighter experience event at Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company!

Farewell to Rescue 5

Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company bids farewell to Rescue 5 which served the residents since 2001, the truck was purchased by a towing and recovery company in Albany NY. Over the years it had responed to many emergency calls, it has been replaced by a 2024 Sutphen rescue/engine combination.... (Full Story & Photos)
