James was formally sworn in at a recent membership meeting, and we are proud to have him join our team of dedicated volunteers. Fire service runs deep in James’s family, as he follows in the footsteps of his father, James, and his older sister, Madison, continuing a strong legacy of service.

Halloween parade for a fun “Touch a Truck” event!

The Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company stopped by Be at Home Child Care during their Halloween parade for a fun “Touch a Truck” event!
Kids got an up-close look at Engine 2 and had the chance to meet and chat with real firefighters about how they help keep our community safe.

Gratitude and Protection: Raksha Bandhan at the Station

Members of the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) visited our station to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. They tied rakhis, or protection wristbands, to our firefighters as a symbol of gratitude and prayers for their safety.
