Fire Companies Respond to Burning Smell at Children’s Hospital North

Last evening, the Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to UPMC Children’s Hospital North for a reported burning smell.

Working alongside the Wexford Volunteer Fire Company and the hospital’s maintenance team, crews searched and checked the facility to identify any potential issues and ensure the area was safe.

We appreciate the cooperation of our fellow firefighters and the hospital maintenance staff in helping investigate the report and ensure the safety of everyone in the facility.
