At tonight's Business Meeting, our newest Member Louis Urso received the Oath Of Membership from President Jarvis.

Lou will be serving as a member of the Fire Police. Fire Police are called out as needed the same as volunteer firefighters, and they usually assist Firefighters and other First Responders with Traffic Control.

Did you know the volunteer Fire Police have the same traffic control authority when called to duty as a regular paid police officer? In fact, in addition to being sworn in as a member of the Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company, Lou will also be sworn in as a Fire Police Officer by Borough Mayor and Council at an upcoming Borough Council Meeting.
